Their unselfish willingness to place themselves between us and our enemies has played a major part in our ability to pursue the lives we live today. For over more than hundred years, the United States military has stood guard on our way of life. Our country’s despicable response to the men and women returning from Vietnam is the reason we must always take time to let them know, regardless of the political environment or our social drifting, we stand in awe of their sacrifice.
